At Tyreworld, our business focus is on customer satisfaction. Our helpful staff will explain our work in terms you can understand, and carry out all repairs quickly and professionally
The site on which our workshop can be found was originally built in 1926 as the historic Fairfield Ice Works. Ice production ceased in 1965 and the business evolved to retail fuel and provide automotive services. The business was then purchased by Jack Spillane in 1973 and re-opened as an automotive workshop, which he named Tyreworld.
Since our inception in 1973, Tyreworld has grown as a result of our team’s fantastic reputation. This reputation has been built upon years of consistent top quality service. The site was redevelpoed in 1985 to create a modern automotive workshop and fuel outlet, with further additions being added in 1995. Current owner operator Michael Spillane took over the business from his father Jack in 1984, and currently operates the business with his own son as a part of the team also.
